Health and Safety Guidelines
We have adapted hartleywintneybarbers in line with the government guidelines that will allow for everyone too enjoy a safe appointment with us.
Please take a moment to read below what this means for your appointment at hartleywintneybarbers and Bijou
Attending your appointment
As there will be very limited waiting area at arrival, please try attending your appointment at the time of your booking, otherwise we might have to ask you to come back.
mayYou will notice that we are increasing the frequency of hand-washing and surface cleaning. But we hope that this will not delay things for you, rather you will feel more confident that we are following all of the new Government Guidelines to keep you safe.
Please limit the amount of items you bring with you.
We will have hand gel available and will ask you to disinfect your hands upon arrival.
We encourage you to wear a face covering in the salon so as to protect yourself and our staff, we do however have some onsite if you do not have your own.
Please note that if you have booked online we will have your contact details, however if the booking was over the phone then we may need to confirm your contact details as this is a requirement from the government. Everyone attending our Salon needs to be able to be contacted if there was to be suspected case Covid-19
We may not be able to take walk-in appointments, so please call or check our online booking system for any last minute availability. By all means you can just come to the Barbers but as we will be following all the government guidelines, we may not have any free slots. But feel feel to drop by if you are in the village and want to see if we have any spaces.
Before you appointment please let us know if you show any COVID-19 symptoms, including:
– Do you have a high temperature?
– Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?
– Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough? or feel unwell
Please do not attend your appointment if you have any of the above symptoms. Simply call us and we can then schedule you in for another appointment at a later date.
We are required to put sufficient measures in place to manage the risk of COVID-19, if we do not then this could constitute a breach of health and safety law
Hope you understand and please let us now if you have any questions around any of the above.
